Anonymous: The difference is that Germany didn't pay for the holocaust 150 years after it happened by people who were removed from the actual events by 5 generations. My wife and I both have relatives who fought for the North. Her ancestor died at the railroad cut at Gettysburg fighting with the black hats. My relative died marching across Indiana chasing Morgan's raiders. The northern war effort was funded by citizens. Lincoln said it was paid for in blood. The case is closed in my mind.
