Just a few months after the grocery chain released its viral, ultra-popular mini tote bags, Trader Joe’s has yet another tote headed shoppers’ way — and it’s bound to sell out just as quickly. I’m talking about Trader Joe’s restocking its citrus-themed tote bag, which is perfect for grocery shopping and summer picnics alike.
TikTok user Talia (@traderjoestalia) recently showed off the product in a May 20 video rounding up new Trader Joe’s arrivals. The bag is made of canvas and features two designs on each side: one with a bright yellow lemon design in which “Trader Joe’s” is written across the main lemon plant’s two green leaves, and an identical green version on the other side that resembles a pear.
“I know we’ve got a lot of people on here who love the Trader Joe’s bags, so I wanted to showcase this [tote] that just came in,” Talia says in the video, noting that the totes sell for $3.99 each.
TikToker @senecasdiary noted that the tote is also perfect for a day outside in her own video, showing it off and writing, “Literally love this tote bag it’s coming to the beach with me 😂.”
Plus, you won’t have to worry about your tote breaking under the strain of heavy groceries or beach supplies. According to Trader Joe’s website, the Citrus Jute bags are made from a “trusted supplier” out of India, using hardy, high-quality fibers from jute plants.
The brand knows how popular its bags are, and how collectible they can be. After the mini tote bags sold out in record time, the resale market was flooded with people trying to get their own for a reasonable price. On its site, Trader Joe’s writes that its newest nine-gallon-capacity Citrus Jute Bag is “nothing short of a gem” and that shoppers can use it themselves or give it as a gift for “the biggest Trader Joe’s fan you know.”
