If you’ve scrolled through BeautyTok or your favorite nail-themed IG pages lately, you’ve likely come across iterations of the versatile, chic and easily customizable French ombré manicure.
The trend differs from a classic French mani as it features a “gradual fade” of the pink-nude base to the white tips, according to Rita Remark, editorial manicurist and Essie’s global lead educator. She adds that the ombré effect “diffuses the contrast and adds a touch of subtlety.”
