4-year-old transforms into Superman and wins TikTok’s ‘wipe it down’ challenge

Social media users have been having fun with TikTok’s “wipe it down” challenge since April. User rominagafur started the challenge where she wipes a mirror, then suddenly she’s donning a scary white mask. Since then, the hashtag #wipeitdownchallenge has garnered over 1.5 billion views on TikTok alone. People everywhere are seemingly transforming into wealthiermore glamorous and seemingly more ripped versions of themselves. 

But perhaps the cutest version of the challenge comes courtesy of 4-year-old Aaron “AJ” Green Jr. from Aurora, Colo. The “Paw Patrol” pajama-wearing tike’s father Aaron Ross Green shared AJ’s entry on Instagram. 

Standing in front of two framed photos, one of the “Superman” logo and the other from “Batman,” AJ wipes the glass with a towel. Then he transforms into Superman, red cape and all. He gives himself a proud nod and wink in the mirror. Then the meme’s signature beat drops and BMW Kenny sings “Wipe, wipe, wipe it down.” 

“AJ is our oldest son and one of the lights of our lives,” Aaron Sr. told “Good Morning America.” “Whether it is dressing up as superheroes, or dancing along to his favorite songs, he is adventurous, creative and full of joy.”

The video received 21,879 views on Instagram and the verdict is in: it’s very cute.

“Cutest superhero!” one user wrote

“My son was like, ‘Mama! It’s superman!'” another added.

“Loved this so much! Can’t wait to do one with my son,” one parent said.
