Noa Deane’s “Nozvid” was one of the best surf movies of 2022. In a world of instant Instagram and TikTok gratification, it was nice to see a surfer save his A-clips over the period of a full year while investing serious time and money into making a full-length surf film.
Of course, a year’s worth of Deane’s clips won’t fit in a 30 minute movie, so now he’s releasing his “Nozvid Meat Cuts”, which are essentially the A clips that just missed making the film. Don’t mistake this footage for leftovers; it’s way too good to be considered scraps. See his first few massive straight airs and alley oops for proof. How many surfers in the world can land an air like those? Not many.
