These 4 Georgia restaurants are among the best brunch spots in the U.S., Yelp ranking says

With Mother's Day approaching, one of the most popular ways to celebrate the important ways to celebrate the incredible women in your life is to take them out for brunch.

As you consider options for brunch — whether on Mother's Day or not — Yelp recently ranked the top 100 brunch restaurants across the nation, with four Georgia restaurants making the list.

The ranking was determined by multiple factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews. Here's a closer look at which ones made the cut and what makes them special:

No. 15: The Collins Quarter

151 Bull St, Savannah

Opened in 2014, the original Collins Quarter is styled after the historic Collins Street in Australia with a brunch and dinner menu offering specialty coffees as well as cocktails and wine. Some of the brunch menu includes multiple loaded toast dishes, bubble and squeak, various sandwiches, and more. There's a second Collins Quarter with a condensed menu at Savannah's Forsyth Park.

The Collins Quarter has 4.5 stars on Yelp with more than 2,700 reviews. Here's what one reviewer said:

"The service was impeccable as our server....The Bananas Foster French Toast might be the best I have had. The host fired up a heater on the patio due to a chilly morning which provided a wonderful dinning experience."

No. 36: Flavor Rich Restaurant

1175 Buford Hwy, Suwanee

What started as a successful food truck in 2018 evolved into a brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2020. It's a simplistic eatery with vibrant dishes. Some of the breakfast items include truffle steak with eggs, chicken and waffles, banana foster French toast, and fried chicken biscuits. The lunch menu has things like lobster rolls, wagyu bacon cheese burger, and salmon avocado BLT. There's a second location near downtown Atlanta.

Flavor Rich Restaurant has 4.6 stars on Yelp with more than 700 reviews. Here's what one reviewer said:

"My uncontested favorite local spot for breakfast....The portions are fantastic and the food is absolutely incredible. The vibes are always good & the service is usually pretty good too."

No. 76: Another Broken Egg Cafe

201 Tanger Outlets Blvd, Pooler

While Another Broken Egg Cafe has franchise locations across the nation, only the Pooler location made Yelp's top 100 list. There are traditional menu items like the veggie omelet and lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes in addition to seasonal plates like the shrimp benedict and "Monterey power omelet." There is a wide brunch cocktail menu with spiked coffees, bloody mary's, and build-your-own cocktails.

The Pooler location has a 4.4 on Yelp with more than 500 reviews. Here's what one reviewer said:

"First time visiting this establishment, we are not local to the area and we will visit again when shopping in the area. The service was excellent and the food was good. We talked with the owner who visited our table and he cares about the quality and repeat guest experience."

No. 94: Buttermilk Kitchen

4225 Roswell Rd NE, Atlanta

Nestled in Atlanta's Buckhead area is Buttermilk Kitchen, offering brunch with sustainable, local ingredients since 2012. It was featured on a few episodes of Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," during one of them star chef Guy Fieri tried the chicken biscuit and said it was spot-on. Some of their other menu staples include pimento omelet, smoked salmon toast, and cinnamon rolls to share with the whole table.

Buttermilk Kitchen has 4.4 stars on Yelp with more than 2,300 reviews. Here's what one reviewer said:

"I've had many a biscuit in my day and, these were definitely some of the best....The ingredients are local and care is taken in all of the dishes here. Our family members had fried chicken. They stated that it was something memorable. I will definitely come back for those biscuits alone."
