It's been barely over a month since Donald Trump's inauguration, but we've become used to the news bringing unwelcome tidings daily. Whether it's Trump proposing unacceptable healthcare compromises and poor substitutes for the Affordable Care Act, or offering platitudes that only remind us of his history of treating women badly, the bright spots can be hard to find.

That makes Samantha Bee's late-night take on current affairs such a relief. Full Frontal With Samantha Bee is reliably irreverent and aggressive in how it covers the week's news, especially as it relates to women and minorities. Last night's International Women's Day show was no different.

Here are the four best things that happened on Bee's show last night.

1. Bee wore a red blazer.

The late-night host's famous blazer-and-sneakers combo took on a scarlet hue last night-no doubt a nod to the A Day Without A Woman strike that took place on March 8.

2. She made us never want to look at a ham and cheese sandwich ever again.

Let's be clear. Wisconsin's Republican governor has done plenty of objectionable things, from signing anti-abortion bills and stripping workers of a living wage. But Bee decided to take aim at a non-political target for once-"Lord, we need a break!" she said-and zeroed in on the state leader's "horrifying relationship with food." Look, everyone loves cheese curds. That's no big deal. But I am not sure what this "Easter jello" thing is, and I definitely do not want to eat it. Please go away.

3. We met this AMAZING woman.

Remember when everyone was praising Trump to the skies a few weeks ago for actually getting through a speech like a regular president? Bee was not having it, and neither was this commentator, who delivered an absolutely fire observation on CBS: "It's not the Donald Trump that I've seen for the past 30 days...Where is that guy? I'm gonna look for him on Twitter tomorrow." Someone please find this woman and give her an Emmy.
