Black Friday is officially right around the corner. With less than three weeks until the biggest sales event of the year, it’s time to make sure everyone on your shopping list is accounted for—including pets! PetSmart is known for their range of supplies, brands and pets themselves. While you can’t order a hamster online, you can get just about anything else you might need to make the hamster happy from the comfort of your home.

Whether you are shopping for your own animal companions, or are planning on gifting your loved ones and their pets, we’ve rounded up an assortment of top products and great deals to shop early. Though we don’t know the exact details of the PetSmart sale for 2022, we can look at past year’s ads to get a sense of what to expect. Ahead, everything we know about the upcoming Black Friday sale at PetSmart, plus promotions that are already live.

When is PetSmart’s Black Friday 2022 sale?

While we’ve yet to receive official confirmation of the dates for PetSmart’s Black Friday sale, based on last year we can make an educated guess. Sales last year began on Thanksgiving Day, and went until the end of Black Friday so we can expect to see the same this year. That means PetSmart’s Black Friday sale should begin on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, and run through Friday, November 25.

What is PetSmart’s Black Friday 2022 sale?

In previous years, PetSmart has offered a variety of discounts on select products and categories. Some highlights from the 2021 sale included 50% off of guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles and parakeets (in store), as well as their holiday collection, called Merry & Bright. PetSmart is a big fan of the BOGO format, with lots of products being given special discounts when purchased in bulk. Certain brands also got generous price slashes, including Top Paw dog toys which were on sale for 50% off as well. Other deals on furniture, food, supplements and essentials were offered as well.

This year, the PetSmart Black Friday sale is happening both in store during opening hours and online.

Is PetSmart open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday?
