Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness was released last Friday, and ooooh lord, it was a trip.

The film — which was obvious from trailers, and, you know, the TITLE — dealt with the multiverse. The idea is that there are infinite universes, many similar to ours, and many with other versions of us (an idea also explored in Loki and Spider-Man: Far From Home).

The film is hardly the first to tackle parallel universes or the multiverse, but there seems to be a focus on the idea in cinema and pop culture lately (looking at you, Everything, Everywhere, All At Once)...

...which has people taking to Twitter to share past pop culture examples of universes colliding, meeting, or mirroring each other — aka their version of "the multiverse of madness." Read on to see some of the best examples!

.What more could any Disney fan want than ALL their fave characters on one show??

.TMNT meeting the Power Rangers would be like if the Justice League met the Avengers.

.Demi, Selena, Miley, and the JoBros teaming up for World of Change — a cultural reset.

.No one did crossovers like Disney Channel.

.Every single one hit.

.Need I repeat myself?

.Though Nickelodeon also made some valiant attempts.

.I mean, Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner meeting and SWAPPING CARTOON STYLES??? Iconic.

.But my favorite crossovers were in their games.

.Taylor was ahead of her time for this.

.And this.

.I just have to point out the zombie Taylor here, because if you've seen Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness...well, you'll know how apt this one is.

.But Tay wasn't the only one to start a multiverse...

....nor was Bey.

.Or Mariah.

.Is there a universe in which One Direction is still together???

.Shaggy without the green shirt just looks wrong.

.More complicated than the multiverse, tbh.

.Ah, back when world peace was achieved.

.And when it was achieved a second time.

.If you haven't thought about what would happen if your clones met...have you even seen Orphan Black?

.Never forget the New Girl x Brooklyn Nine-Nine crossover: the event of the century.

.If only this was canon.

.What did I tell you about Disney Channel?

.I didn't lie.

.This two-sided CD alone was a multiverse.

.Dr. Strange isn't the only superhero saga to do it, either.

.Sorry, but the DCEU/Arrowverse was wayyyy ahead of Marvel.

.Even The Boys has dipped its toe in the pool.

.Teen shows have, too.

.With the gold standard being Buffy, of course.

.Supernatural was also an expert on crossovers and the multiverse.

.The Office (US) had a lot of iconic moments, but none as iconic as Michael Scott meeting David Brent.

.And finally, there are so many universes colliding in this one photo that I feel like my brain might explode.
