1) Alien: Isolation is a masterpiece that’s better than most of the movies it’s based on. A single, relentless xenomorph stalks you throughout the whole game and there’s no way to kill it, only ways to distract it. 2) Costume Quest is about monsters, candy and childhood. In this silly and fun game, you embark on a quest to save your sibling after they’ve been kidnapped by evil monsters. 3) Doom Eternal is a game where you play the boogeyman. This ridiculously gory game is about killing thousands upon thousands of demons with lots of different guns and sometimes your bare hands. 4) Grim Fandango is a funny and touching detective noir story rooted in Mexican culture. It’s a hilarious game set in a beautifully realized world, with its design heavily inspired by Aztec mythology and Día de Muertos. 5) Hades is about death as another beginning — and another one, and another one and another one. This game has an addictive combat system, gorgeous art and valuable message: Losing is not the end. It’s just the process of getting strong enough to win

Others chimed in to share their neighborhood lawn decorations and they did not disappoint —. one even included the enormous Home Depot skeleton

Spirit Halloween has 1,300 stores in the U.S. and Canada . It is truly a one-stop-shop for all Halloween and cosplay necessities. Every year around August, Spirit starts to form teams of seasonal employees who help out with the shopping season, which typically runs through November. With the season now in full swing, employees have been sharing some behind-the-scenes tidbits. First thing’s first, Spirit Halloween employees have to love Halloween. One employee told Mental Floss that he’d never met another employee who wasn’t as obsessed with the holiday as he was in the five years of working at the store. Employees have to live up to certain rules while under contract for the chain. It’s Spirit policy that only employees open up packages. If you’ve ever opened a package in a Spirit Halloween and gotten a weird look from an employee, that’s why. There are also rules about trying on costumes — especially masks. They also hate when customers use the aisles for changing rooms
