Remember when Black Friday was an overnight shopping extravaganza? I'm sure many of you, like me, have memories of waking up from a turkey-induced nap and rushing off to the mall with your family at midnight to get the best "doorbuster" savings. At some point in the aughts, the sales started creeping earlier and earlier into Thanksgiving Day, then came pre-Black Friday sales the week of Thanksgiving and the Cyber Monday deals, and then came 2021 (well, you know the rest). This year, in case you haven't already noticed, Black Friday at large started earlier than ever. And now, well, the shopping holiday is nearly here.
If you were one of those brave Black Friday shoppers of yore, chances are you spent a night or two at Nordstrom. The luxury department store is a bonafide holiday shopping destination—and for good reason. Whether you're looking for luxe designer gifts, stocking stuffers, home decor treasures, or just restocking your wardrobe, Nordstrom is truly a one-stop-shop for everyone on your list, whether it's an eccentric best friend to the grandfather who has it all.
When is the Nordstrom Black Friday sale?
At Nordstrom, all the shopping shenanigans kicked off way ahead of schedule on Nov. 4—exactly three weeks before Thanksgiving. Since then, they've been releasing new batches of deals every few weeks, and there are major savings to be had. The sweeping sale averages a 40 percent discount on most items and spans all categories, including men's and women's clothing, shoes, accessories, grooming, and home. As if that wasn't enough, we learned through a press announcement that Nordstrom will be hosting a final shopping event for Cyber Monday on Nov. 27-30. Can't stop, won't stop.
No need to wait though, because the Nordstrom Black Friday sale is stacked. (Word to the wise: Nordstrom's major shopping events, like its Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, tend to sell out quickly, so if you see something you like, act fast.) A host of the best men's clothing brands (including Men's Health editor favorites) are included in the sale, including Nike, The North Face, Rhone, Calvin Klein, Bonobos, Madewell, and more. Needless to say, we're pretty pumped.
