For those looking for a set-it-and-forget it coffee subscription (as opposed to one where you get a bunch of different bags like Trade Coffee) you can't go wrong with Blue Bottle Coffee. With several subscription box options starting at $11 per month, you can choose a coffee, espresso, iced coffee, or even a decaf box based on your java preference and get high-quality joe on a continued basis. "Here I was, drinking barista-quality brew in my own kitchen. The process was neither complicated nor particularly expensive," says one tester. "Pound for pound, fresh-roasted, small-batch coffee still costs less than chain java. And once I’d mastered the technique, it really didn’t demand much of my time."

BarkBox Monthly Subscription Box

With different boxes for small dogs, medium, and large dogs, BarkBox's dog subscription box keeps pups of all shapes and sizes entertained for hours. The boxes feature toys of all kinds, including interactive dog toys, chew toys, spiky balls, squeakers, and ropes, plus options specifically for puppies and aggressive chewers.

Our nutrition and fitness editor Talene Appleton gave this vegan meal delivery service top marks. The pull of CookUnity is that it's developed and created by pro chefs who prioritize quality ingredients that are locally sourced. For a non-vegan brand, its plant-based meal options are incredibly diverse and actually tasty. Think: Black bean enchiladas, cauliflower tikka masala, and roasted vegetable lasagna.

The subscription plans CookUnity does offer are flexible at least, with the option to pause or cancel your subscription at any time. You can find the company via its site or mobile app, which makes it easy to manage your subscription on the go.

Harry Truman Set

The reason Harry’s is so popular, not to mention a Men’s Health favorite, is because it makes shaving simple. All you really need to get a great shave is a good razor and cream, right? Harry's is best for guys who don’t want all the extra fuss, and the shave club makes it even easier. Start by choosing one of two handles (the classic Truman or the slightly weightier Winston) and set your auto-ship to include blade refills and shaving gel. Depending on how fast you go through the blades, you can set the auto-shipment to two, three or four months. Harry’s now offers a membership program as well, which provides discounts, expedited shipping, early access to new products, and more for just $15 a year.

If you want to jumpstart your day with something easy to make, Daily Harvest has some ideas. You'll likely need a blender, but the lineup of smoothies, lattes, and bowls are strong. Often, they just sit in the freezer and need little more than some liquid and a good mix to come to life.

We like the inventiveness of the menu items, including things like dragonfruit, mulberry, tomatillo, and more. There are some solid flatbreads and soups in the mix too, along with some snack nibbles.Getting frozen food delivered generally guarantees that it will be in good shape, and while there's a lot of recyclable packaging, you're also issued a lot of dry ice (so set it aside for that haunted house you always say you're going to set up). You can also pause or skip a delivery or cancel your subscription at anytime without being penalized, which is always nice.

Threadbeast

Threadbeast is a clothing subscription service with trendy streetwear picks in each box. A tiered membership plan enables you to customize your box based on your needs and budget, starting at $60 for the Basic Plan, which comes with 2-3 items, mainly tops and accessories. The next step up is the Essential Plan ($95) which includes 4-5 items, followed by the Premium Plan ($150), which features 6-7 items such as premium denim and outerwear.

The Baller Plan comes in at $290, which has 9-11 items, including premium pieces, and a pair of shoes with every box. You have up to seven days from the date you received your last package to pause, skip, upgrade/downgrade your box, or cancel your membership altogether. In terms of style, our editors found that Threadbeast had the best collection for streetwear duds, which makes this ideal for younger guys (or even a great graduation gift).

If you're aiming to dress up, not down, for formal occasions that you frequent or just because you want to look professional, Stately is a premium clothing subscription that'll rally top brands like Bonobos, Ben Sherman, Perry Ellis, and DL1961 as your sartorial wingmen. Its monthly box will have everything you likely need to get a total makeover: a formal dress shirt, sleek jacket, belt, and even dress shoes like oxfords or loafers. The lineup of apparel is impressive in terms of qualities, brands, designs, and the ability to assemble together a dandy outfit.

Better yet, subscribing to Stately is like hiring your very own stylist. The quiz-based service learns your style first—such as "how do you dress for work, casual or business casual?" or "how do you like your shirts fit?"—then the stylists of Stately will curate complete outfits from leading menswear brands in a box. Price-wise, it starts from $129 (for a total value of $200) for at least three pieces of tops, bottoms, footwear, and/or accessories, before going up to $499 (for a total value of $1000) where you'll receive a white-glove service and a stylist consultation to goldilocks your look from head to toe.

Tipsy Sake Club

Here's a fetching club for the sake drinker or somebody simply curious about the genre. It's a bit more of a niche club, but therein lies the intrigue. You'd have to stumble into the right bottle shop buyer or sommelier to get this kind of sake knowhow and exposure.

You begin by figure out what kind of sake you like (a nice touch given that many of us know very little about the stuff) and then customize your orders around that blueprint. Each shipment comes with three or six bottles and your first one includes a nice wooden sake vessel, great for really enjoying the stuff. Members get exclusive access to certain bottles now and again too.

Vinebox

VINEBOX operated by the quarter as well, setting you up with a shipment every few months. In it, you'll find vials filled with wines from relatively small-scale vintners, allowing you to throw your own wine tasting parties. You're then set up with credits to buy by the bottle, ensuring you get only the stuff you really enjoyed.

The service is pretty good and pivoting with the time of year, offering more refreshing wines in the hotter months and more robust wines during the cooler months. The sample-first philosophy is nice and makes you feel like you have a Coravin. In other words, each tube is just a glass (not a full glass, mind you), so you effectively get to sample the wine before you shell out for the full 750mL.

Umamicart

Umamicart is like having your own online tour guide walk you through a fully-loaded Asian supermarket. Fans of flavorful sauces, spicy condiments, and just things they've likely never tried before are encouraged to go this route. The selection is good, delivery is quick, and the site ships to most places.

This is also a great outlet for individual purchases, especially if you're after various kinds of rice, noodles, tofus, etc. Presently, there are two main subscription boxes, one for pantry items and the other for snacks. The themes change each month (it's hot and spicy right now), as do the countries of origin.
