The holidays are here again. It's time to curl up on the couch with hot chocolate, a sweet treat, and be grateful the weather is so unforgiving that you have an easy excuse to stay indoors. So what do you do with all that free time not spent outdoors? You watch movies of course! And there's no better way to get into the holiday spirit–or for the purpose of this list, specifically Christmas–than to watch Christmas movies.
Thankfully, the "Christmas movie" genre comes with all sorts of crowdpleasers. They tend to be positive and uplifting, usually family-friendly, and enjoyable enough that you don't mind watching them year after year. And if you're the unfortunate soul cooking and baking throughout the season, they're not bad as delightful background noise. Whether you're watching alone or with family, you're sure to have a good time.
But once you've narrowed down your streaming service of choice for your holiday movie, how do you make sure you're actually watching something you'll enjoy? That's where we come in.
