ANNA DE SOUZA: Quarantining has definitely brought out our creative side. Three big trends caught our eye, and we're willing to bet that these are going to stick around beyond stay-at-home restrictions.

Diamond painting has become 2020s bedazzler craze. Do you guys remember that? It's a mix between cross stitch and paint by numbers. When you purchase a kit, you're going to get mostly everything that you need. So you're going to get your canvas that's color coded. You're going to get a stylus. You'll also get some wax so that you can pick up the diamonds. You'll have a sorting caddy so you can add all your little diamonds. And finally, of course, you'll get the color-coded diamond.

The color corresponds with a specific little symbol. So you take a look, you try to find that symbol, and then you pop the diamond right in. This is pretty relaxing. I can see why people are into this.

The latest TikTok trend is cereal pancakes. First, make your favorite pancake recipe as you normally would. Next, you could put the batter into a squeeze bottle, or you can use a Ziploc bag. On the corner, a teensy little hole. Heat up your skillet with a little bit of oil then begin squeezing tiny little dime-sized pancakes right onto the pan. Keep an eye out so that they're bubbling on top. Then you know it's time to turn them over. Now, I love flipping them with chopsticks. It's super easy.

This breakfast really teaches you patience. You might have to make two or three batches before you can fill up the whole bowl. The most delicious part of it is that ratio of the outer border crispness that makes it feel really crunchy and cereal-like.

What's really interesting about tie dye is that it feels nostalgic, yet it feels really modern. But we do know, it's here to stay. So if you look online, there are kits that have everything that you need, for the most part. So you'll have your dye, some gloves, and a Mason jar.

First, we're going to fill up our jar with a little bit of water. Then we grab the color, put in a few squirts, then we're just going to put our garment halfway in, let it soak a little bit. The color is going to start to have a little bit of a gradation coming up. That is truly adorable. I love this hobby. I'm definitely going to be doing this for years to come.

Another really cool method is the ice tie dye. So the way to do that is to crumple up your garment right on top of your metal rack. You put some ice on top of that garment then you start to put the dye right over it. As the ice starts to melt, the color starts to seep in through all the extra layers. Look how cute that is.

Thanks so much for watching, guys. I had so much fun. And I will catch you guys in the next video.
