The 2023 Venice Film Festival is officially underway, with plenty of glamorous, high-fashion red carpet moments to keep track of (despite the Hollywood strikes impacting attendance). As images began rolling out from Wednesday's opening red carpet, a sharp-eyed user on X (formerly known as Twitter), @itgirlenergy, took notice of one look in particular — worn by not one, not two, but three different people at the same event. It was what many would consider to be a classic fashion faux pas (and something luxury houses usually want to avoid).

The look in question? Look 50 from Saint Laurent's Pre-Fall 2023 collection: a floor-length black gown with a dramatic sweetheart neckline and distinctive draped sleeves that transition into opera gloves.

Each of the three people who wore it styled the look almost exactly as it was seen in the collection's lookbook: a single bangle accessorizing the wrist, a bold drop earring and a classic red lip.

Spanish actor Milena Smit, who is an ambassador for YSL Beauty, was the only one to veer from the no-necklace trend, instead wearing a rose-gold, three-row choker with a singular red stone falling at the center.

Even if you're not in Venice, anyone looking to be the fourth member of this group can purchase the dress now on YSL.com for a modest $6,800.
