It was love at first sight for Ree Drummond and her "Marlboro Man" husband, Ladd. The two met at a small town dive bar in Oklahoma and were instantly attracted to each other, according to the Pioneer Woman. "He was just completely different than all the boys I'd been crazy about," she told People in this week's Food Faves issue. "I don't mean to make it sound like Maria and Tony in West Side Story, but I was just sort of like 'Oh boy!' My knees were weak."

A year and a half after meeting in that smoky honky tonk, the pair got engaged, and then tied the knot in 1996. Today, they have four kids-Alex, 20, Paige, 18, Bryce,15, and Todd, 13-and Ladd manages the family's cattle ranch, Drummond Land and Cattle Co., while Ree runs her ever-growing lifestyle empire. But despite their busy schedules and growing businesses, they make their marriage work and have fun while they're at it-and Ree says it all comes down to three things:

They check in with a special nightly ritual.

"We always touch feet at night," Ree told People.com. "Even if one of us is a little bit miffed, or if someone's not feeling it, if our feet touch, I always know, 'Okay, it's all good.'"

They make time to nurture their shared faith.

Both Ladd and Ree are committed to their relationship with God and attending church-even when life gets hectic. "This isn't the answer for everybody, but we go to church together every Sunday," she told People. "It's something that we do no matter what comes up. No matter how tired we are. I've seen the times that we've slipped away from that, and disaster is lurking in the bushes."

Oh, hello.

The magic-and physical attraction-is still there.

Even thought they're approaching their 21st anniversary, Ree says they still share a strong physical attraction to each other. "I'm also extremely attracted to my husband at age 48, which I think is pretty cool," she said. "He's just got these biceps…and if I see him on a horse, it's all over."
