The 3 NYFW 2019 Trends You Can Shop Now

When one fashion week ends, another one begins. And though we're anxiously awaiting what London, Milan, and Paris fashion week will bring to the table for the upcoming season, we're still wrapping our heads around the colorful, eclectic, and clog-filled days that were New York Fashion Week. As the runways, appointments, and presentations unraveled the Teen Vogue Styling team dissected all of the best fashion moments, looks (beauty looks, too!), and street style snippets. However, now that the week is officially over (even though it is currently Thursday and we've kind of lost sense of time) we have sat down and pinpointed the biggest trends for next spring.

From the next tie-dye to more corsets that Kylie Jenner and Rowan Blanchard would approve of there's plenty to get excited about. However, with fall close on our toes, and no time-traveling device in existence we can't fast forward our way to warmer days. Luckily, we have the internet and plenty of stores that carry some of the NYFW 2020 trends you can shop now and wear all through this weird, transitional weather, fall, and then bring them back come summer.

Whether you want to change your denim jackets for boxy blazers, jump on the clog bandwagon or simply want to amp up your hair accessory game, below you can find how (and where) to shop the trends you'll see everywhere next season.

Boxy Blazers, Oh Boy!

It's time to elevate your layering game by adding some blazers into your fall outfits. Just take styling cues from Barragán's power shoulder fit, Proenza Schouler's effortless silhouette or even Kate Spade's more casual take. Whether you style them with just a t-shirt underneath or with a light sweater when things start getting chilly, next time you want to reach out to your denim jacket, swap it out for one of the blazers below instead.

Yes, sweater weather is almost here, which means that your scarves should also be dusted off from your forgotten drawer. However, if you've been sporting silk scarves these last few weeks you can still incorporate them into your transitional and fall ensembles. Let Dion Lee, Kate Spade, and 3.1 Phillip Lim show you how it's done. From wrapping one over your waist to cinch up your leather looks (or even your boxy blazers!) to giving a fresh look to your sweater looks by wearing it over your shoulders, there's plenty of ways to wear them before you swap them for your wool and knitted ones.

Lucha libre wrestler? Gymnastics pro? Well, not exactly, but close. If you're already looking for homecoming inspiration, or even want to see what your holiday party aesthetic is going to be, we suggest you take note of Christopher John Roger's, Christian Siriano's, and Christian Cowan's spring/summer 2020 collections. Because it's not just a Chris thing, one of Spring's biggest trends is garments made of this glitzy, stretchy fabric, which is also ideal for all your future holiday activities. Sequins, who?
