1. Meatballs At Subway

Whether you love getting a meatball sub from Subway or enjoy snacking on them on the side, some supposed Subway workers on Reddit urged those reading the thread to "think twice" before ordering them again.

"They are usually running low [on meatballs at Subway] and don't want to open a new bag so late at night, so you won't get as many meatballs as you are supposed to," one user wrote, adding, "the ones you do get are probably rubbery and burnt from sitting there way too long." Someone else replied, "This just made me almost gag."

2. Mushrooms At Papa John's

Another user and self-dubbed "former Papa John’s worker" wrote that they would "never get mushrooms on a pizza" from the chain as the mushrooms get "slimy and smell bad after a day or two."

They added that "the managers just keep serving them cause they’re gonna get nuked in the oven anyway." One other Redditor added, "They’ll be fine but it’s still gross."

3. Whipped Cream At Starbucks

Can't imagine your favorite iced mocha or macchiato from Starbucks without whipped cream? One Reddit user who noted that they worked at Starbucks for "5 years" stressed skipping whipped cream from the coffee giant

"I put whipped cream in the fridge right after I used it, but many of my coworkers used to leave it out... for hours," they wrote about one unforgettable experience. The user added, "Don't get me started on milk during the summer. I loved working at Starbucks but I hate it working with gross people. The manager never cared, even after a lot of people complained many times."
