3.5 Million People Are Very Excited for This Kardashian-Approved Swimwear Collection
Four days ago Khloé Kardashian posted a video on Instagram of her body in a gold bikini, suspended over a pool. The entire Kardashian-Jenner family swiftly responded with a variety of affirmations involving the words “yes”, “hot”, “approved” and “omg” in both lowercase and full caps. 4,500 equally enthusiastic comments followed, and the video has now been viewed 3.5 million times.

Of course, the Kardashians don’t just post something with so much anticipation unless they’ve got something good to sell — and this time, the announcement was actually literal. Enter Good Swim, Good American’s first-ever swimwear line that just launched today.
Good Swim was built around the concept of curves at its core. Unlike most swimwear lines, it didn’t start with an offering that only fit a certain body type and then later on add more inclusive designs. Instead, each bikini top, bikini bottom, and one-piece suit was developed with the intention of fitting on women of different shapes and sizes. Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, who founded the denim brand in 2016, basically wanted to make shopping for swimwear less frustrating and more seamless. The line is available in sizes 0-8 and XS-5XL, and the prices are also accessible, ranging from $29 to $139.
Along with little black bikinis and glitzy gold one-pieces, of course, there’s lots of leopard printand a front-tie bikini top that’s so cute, it’s basically asking to be worn out and not just poolside. But what’s particularly worth noting about the new pieces in Good Swim is that they have one-of-a-kind attributes that strive to provide support and flexibility. We’re starting to see what Kendall meant when she said the collection was both hot and approved.
Several styles have a tummy-tuck feature that helps smooth out the area for a more flattering fit. You’ll also find suits with double drawstrings and wider straps for full coverage and support, if that’s what you prefer. The line also incorporates belts — one of the biggest swimwear trends of the past decade — to accentuate your waist.
Some tops and bottoms are even reversible, which solves the how-many-bikinis-do-I-pack conundrum that’s too often plagued us all the Thursday before a weekend getaway. Speaking of packing, Good Swim also has sarongs and robes that are made for wearing over your swimwear or on their own. Basically, you could buy an entire wardrobe of Good Swim for an upcoming (local lockdown) trip and have enough outfits to last you the entire vacation.
Considering 3.5 million people were excited about this swimwear launch before they even knew it existed, it should come as no surprise that sizes and styles are already selling out fast. In the words of Kylie Jenner, omg.
