We leveled up our makeup routines with a smoothing setting powder, a creamy skin-like concealer and a glossy strawberry-flavored lip balm. A swirl of woody and floral fragrance notes were also on our minds this month, via an alluring eau de parfum and a comforting candle.

Vacation Orange Gelée SPF 30 Sunscreen Gel, $23, available here: "Nostalgia-fueled sun care brand Vacation truly outdid itself with this modernized recreation of Bain de Soleil's iconic discontinued sunscreen. The brand put in extensive work to develop a formula that could mimic the gel-to-balm texture and beachy scent, but with 2024-level skin-care ingredients and SPF 30. The result is spot-on — I'm completely obsessed." —Stephanie Saltzman, Beauty Director

Tally Health Restore Supplement, $79/month subscription, available here: "I recently received a rude awakening in the form of Tally Health's age test, which revealed my epigenetic age is supposedly two years older than my biological age (yikes!). One reason is likely lack of sleep (a major driver of aging) and the longevity-focused brand's new sleep supplement addresses that specifically. And I love it. The clinically tested, melatonin-free formula includes effective doses of magnesium, L-theanine and Apigenin, and I've noticed that, rather than just knocking me out, it helps me relax so that my mind stops racing, I fall asleep faster, I don't wake up throughout the night and I don't feel groggy in the morning." —Dhani Mau, Editor-in-Chief

Bask Daily Invisible Gel SPF 40 Sunscreen, $28, available here: "I consider myself to be somewhat of a sunscreen connoisseur (as many pale redheads have to be), and Bask's latest launch has officially entered my imaginary but exclusive SPF hall of fame. With a silky smooth texture and an invisible finish, the formula glides on with no greasy residue or lingering smell. It's formulated with squalane to boost hydration, which not only feels weightless but also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Basically, this sunscreen immediately cemented its spot as one of my all-time favorites." —Catie Pusateri, Contributing Writer

Billie Eilish No. 2 Eau de Parfum, $72, available here: "Right now, I'm on my fragrance grind. The latest on my hit list is Eilish No. 2, an intriguing woody, spicy and floral concoction that combines notes of apple blossom, incense, black pepper and palo santo, enveloped in a base note of skin musk. It's a departure from traditional light floral summer scents, but it's an alluring alternative for those who are on the hunt for something darker and sexier." —Janelle Sessoms, Staff Writer

OPI Your Way Nail Lacquer Collection, $12, available here: "I discovered, thanks to a recommendation from nail artist Miss Pop, that this polish does wonders as a top coat. I like to layer it over my nail color (typically red or pink) because it adds some dimension and a pearlescent shine to my final look." —Andrea Bossi, Staff Writer

Nexxus Slick Stick Strong Hold Hair Wax, $16, available here: "This slick stick is unlike any others I've tried before. It creates a smooth finish without leaving hair feeling waxy or stiff, likely thanks to the inclusion of coconut oil in the formula." —Brooke Frischer, Staff Writer and Social Lead

PLA Fashionably Light Nail Collection, $225 $180, available here: "I've been doing my gel nails at home since lockdown (I'm certified by the University of YouTube) and quickly learned that the availability of salon-quality tools and products are low if you don't have access to license-only beauty stores. So, I'm very thankful to have found PLA's gel polishes: The Nude set is a neutral mani lover's dream. The formulas are easy to apply and cure super hard and shiny, and I haven't experienced any chips, lifting or wrinkling." —Savannah Sitton, Contributing Market Editor

Guerlain Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21, $630, available here: "I've always been big on vanilla scents, but this one is possibly the most interesting, intense take on the note I've ever smelled. Guerlain steeps its vanilla in alcohol for 21 days to create a tincture, which lends intense depth and richness to the scent. I've been getting tons of compliments every time I wear it." —Steph

Briogeo Rich Rice Shampoo Concentrate, $42, available here: "My curly, fine hair has been experiencing more breakage than usual, so I was excited to try the latest addition to Briogeo's beloved "Don't Despair, Repair" line: a strengthening shampoo infused with rice protein. The concentrated, balm-like formula turns into a satisfying creamy lather in water and leaves my hair feeling truly clean (it's in no way a co-wash) and stronger. Using it alongside my favorite conditioners and hair masks makes me feel like I'm doing literally everything I can to keep my hair as strong and healthy as possible." —Dhani

Kosas Cloud Set Setting Powder, $35, available here: "I've been trying to balance my oily skin's excess shine with the sought-after glowy makeup look (it's a thin line to walk), and this sheer setting powder has helped keep unwanted shine at bay without sacrificing purposeful dewiness. Its lightly pigmented payoff doesn't appear cake-y, instead leaving a natural, long-lasting finish." —Catie

Lumira Cyprès de Provence candle, $80, available here: "I'm simply obsessed with the scent of this candle, and if you like fragrances that combine woody and floral notes, you will too. It feels elevated and unique, but is still warm, comforting and home-y. I also appreciate the brand's discreet, slightly moody candle design — it satisfies both the sensorial and aesthetic tastes of both members of my dual-gender household." —Dhani

Differin Acne-Prone Skin Patches with Salicylic Acid, $10, available here: "I never felt like pimple patches were doing anything truly beneficial other than guarding pimples from environmental bacteria and contaminants. But this version has made me a believer: After wearing them overnight, I noticed my spots shrink significantly, and within the week my pimples were practically gone, thanks to the inclusion of salicylic acid, which gently exfoliates. Plus, they don't leave any kind of sticky residue once you take them off." —Brooke

Saie Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer, $28, available here: "This lightweight, ultra-creamy and blendable concealer is as adept at brightening my shadowy undereye circles as it is at disappearing dark spots and blemishes. I also love its natural, skin-like finish and that it's enhanced with skin-care ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and glycerin to brighten and moisturize." —Steph

Prequel Redness Reform Soothing Serum, $20, available here: "I've always dealt with excess redness, especially around my cheeks and nose, but I've historically opted to slather neutral-toned foundation over top rather than address it head-on. Despite my initial skepticism of a redness-relieving serum, I was pleasantly surprised when I began noticing less redness and softer skin. This formula is spiked with oat, arnica and vitamin F — all safe ingredients for my sensitive skin and a welcome addition to my nighttime routine." —Catie

Chanel Les 4 Ombres Coral Treasure Eyeshadow, $86, available here: "I've been playing with more reds and pinks around my eyes lately, and this palette came out just in time. Between its four coral colors, there are various ways to apply and blend these hues. I like to go for something more sultry, paired with a bold blush." —Andrea

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour HydraPlay Skin Perfecting Daily Moisturizer, $45, available here: "For the past few weeks I've been using Elizabeth Arden's new 8-in-1 daily moisturizer post-cleanser and pre-sunscreen — and I've never received so many compliments for my smooth-looking skin. The real formula game-changers are the blend of hyaluronic acid (for elasticity, plumpness and hydration), glycerin (for moisture) and squalane (for skin barrier strengthening). As intensely moisturizing as it is, it truly has a weightless feel and comes right on time during the seasonal change." —Janelle

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm Plumping Lip Gloss, $35, available here: "I'm a sucker for a good plumping gloss, and Charlotte Tilbury's new formula stands out for being gentle (not burn-inducing) yet effective. What I love most, though, is that it's well-pigmented, meaning I can wear it without lipstick and still feel good." —Andrea

Supergoop! Protec(tint) Daily SPF Tint SPF 50, $44, available here: "Sunscreen-laced skin tints have quickly become some of my favorite products in my makeup stash, and Supergoop's new formula checks all the boxes for me: It offers lightweight and buildable coverage, a smooth, radiant finish and SPF 50. It does have a slight sunscreen-y smell, but it doesn't feel greasy on the skin. For an extra dose of glow, I like to apply a luminous SPF underneath it." —Catie

Aestura Atobarrier365 Ceramide Cream Mist Spray, $20, available here: "If I had to pick one beauty product to bring to a deserted island, it would easily be this mist. It's not advertised as an all-in-one, but I swear I can (and often do) spritz it on post-face wash, and then walk away feeling completely hyrated, plump and dewy all day long. Just a spritz of the milky essence on freshly cleaned skin feels intensely moisturizing and surprisingly long-lasting." —Savannah

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush, $26, available here: "Like most people, I love the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, but admit I'm more of a powder blush girlie. Rare's first powder blush is an absolute must-have — especially if you like to cut down your makeup routine as much as possible. The formula combines the best of the brand's liquid blush and highlighter, making a radiant, flushed look possible with a single swipe of the product." —Brooke

Sun Bum Daily 50 Face Gel, $22, available here: "This product makes my makeup-and-sun-care protection routine so much easier. Rather than layering a sunscreen over a primer, which can irritate my semi-oily skin, this Sun Bum formula is a two-in-one. My makeup stays put while my skin is protected with SPF 50." —Andrea

Glossier Strawberry Balm Dotcom, $14, available here: "I'm always excited to try a new Balm Dotcom flavor, and this one is perfect for summer. Plus, it gives you a perfectly pigmented flush of red on the lips — not too opaque, and not too sheer." —Brooke

The Absorption Company Sleep, $40, available here: "This new supplement brand touts nutrients in their 'most bio-available form', meaning they're supposed to help the body actually absorb vitamins, rather that excrete them out. I'm particularly impressed by Sleep, a powdered formula that can be mixed into beverages. The taste is a yummy chamomile lemonade that's refreshing when iced or relaxing when warm like a tea, with no vitamin-y after taste. I usually struggle with restlessness, but on the several evenings that I drank this, I slept soundly through the night and woke up refreshed and ready for the day, as opposed to drowsy. Highly recommend to my fellow insomniacs." —Savannah

Tom Ford Slim Lip Color in Rose Corset, $50, available here: "Just like there's transitional dressing, there's transitional beauty... at least for me. In these rare moments between winter's cool temperatures and summer's heat, I've been leaning on this lipstick for a red lip that's bold but not too bright. Its lightweight and slightly shiny finish make it great for daily wear, but I also like to amp it up with some lip liner occasionally." —Andrea

Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur Talc-Free Waterproof Translucent Pressed Setting Powder, $52, available here: "This new pressed powder has officially infiltrated my makeup routine. I especially love to use it on top of my Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder for a super seamless, air-brushed look." —Brooke

Swissco Small Animal Nail Brush, $2, available here: "Meet my new bath friend, Duckie, the latest step in my everything shower routine. I found him at the Larchmont Beauty Center — if you know, you know. Why does he bring me so much joy?" —Savannah

Juna Detox Drops, $26, available here: "I love adding chlorophyll drops to my water and these are my new favorite. In addition to cleansing chlorophyll (Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin), this tincture also has lemon and mint essential oils, two other natural ingredients also great for energy and detoxification; they even supposedly act as an 'internal deodorant,' removing odor-causing compounds from the inside out. I enjoy the fresh taste and also really appreciate that the mint eases an upset tummy and de-bloats when I need it." —Savannah

In case you missed last month's picks, you can find them here:

<p><strong>Fara Homidi Essential Face Compact, $88, <a href="https://howl.me/clUkXsppZSf" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" data-ylk="slk:available here;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas" class="link ">available here</a>: </strong>"At first I was a bit confused by this two-pot compact, which includes a fairly standard balm highlighter and a cream that the brand touts as 'more than a concealer, less than a foundation' that's decidedly less straightforward. But after one use, I totally got it — and was utterly hooked. The intensely pigmented, amazingly blendable cream easily covers imperfections like a full-coverage foundation, but buffs out seamlessly, creating a natural, skin-like finish that tamps down shine but doesn't go full-on chalky matte. Used strategically to spot cover, it renders the need for additional concealer or foundation unnecessary. I'm also in love with the translucent, beautifully glow-y highlighter." —Steph Saltzman, Beauty Director</p>
