Ellen DeGeneres's Flooded Backyard, Highway Sinkholes, And 23 Other Images From The Flooding In California

California has been hit by a major rain storm over the past week, causing significant flooding all over the state. Here are 25 images showing just how wild all that flooding has been:

.People's parked cars in some areas of LA are flooded:

.And here's what the Los Angeles River looks like now:

.This video at the same spot a few days apart shows just how incredible the change is:

.Here's a video that Ellen DeGeneres posted from her house in Montecito, which now has a raging river:

.Here's what Los Angeles's Union Station looked like during the storm:

.And here's another view, with commuters being carted through the flooded station:

.This video shows how the water was pouring through cracks in the ceiling and walls:

.Here's how workers had to set up for the Golden Globes on Monday evening and Tuesday morning:

.People's homes are flooded, particularly in Santa Barbara County, where this photo was taken:

.In fact, entire neighborhoods are flooded, like this one in Merced, California:

.The flooding has caused tons of damage to roads, including this very scary sinkhole in Chatsworth:

.Entire roads are flooded, like this one in Forestville near the San Francisco area. It basically looks like this car is driving on an actual lake:

.Even areas in the city proper are flooded, like this stretch of West Hollywood featuring restaurants and nightclubs:

.In LA, the sewer system was overloaded. This video shows water bubbling up from underneath a maintenance hole cover (which is very, very heavy):

.Speaking of restaurants, the flash flooding didn't stop people from eating on the patio at the popular Los Feliz spot Little Dom's, a favorite of celebrities:

People eat at tables outside, surrounded by plastic walls, with inches of standing water covering the ground

.The LA city sanitation services are still running! But people's trash cans are floating down the street:

.This gas station in San Francisco completely collapsed due to the rain and high winds:

.Another danger of the storm in hilly areas are mudslides and rock slides, like this one that totaled a parked car:

The middle of the car has been completely caved in by a giant rock that fell on top of the car

.Some of those rockslides are really scary. This one in Montecito washed some propane tanks — some of them with propane still in them — onto the road:

.Here, a tree branch fell on top of a San Francisco city bus due to the high winds. Tree damage is common during floods like this, as the water loosens the soil and causes trees to uproot:

.Beaches along the coast — like this one in Aptos — are covered with debris (and sometimes litter) that has been washed to the ocean through the storm drain system and then deposited back onto the beach:

.Many Californians don't have the usual supplies you need to deal with this level of rain. After all, you normally don't need a raincoat and galoshes in a state that's been dealing with record-setting drought:

.Despite the intense storm, though, people still flocked to Disneyland on Tuesday:
