You can never have too many boots and, lucky for us, the holiday season is the perfect time to stock up on them. While I love rocking a good pair of boots, I often find it hard to find ones that fit my calf. They are either made for unrealistically skinny legs or simply just don’t work for wider calves. Luxe shoe brands often neglect us wide calf girls, but Tamara Mellon recently released knee-high boots with new calf sizes. The brand’s best selling “Icon Knee High” boots hit right below the knee and have a comfortable heel that isn’t too high and doesn’t quite classify as a kitten heel — we can see why it’s dubbed “Icon.”
For a wide calf girl who loves luxe footwear, this is a huge win. The boots are designed to fit small, medium, and large calves and are a staple that everyone needs in their closet. I’d be doing myself a disservice not placing these on my holiday wishlist this year. A luxe leather boot actually made for me that’ll last past one season? It’s a winner in my books and absolutely worth the splurge!
