The 25 Best Movies on Freevee

There's a lot of streaming services, and only so much your wallet can afford. For cord cutters everywhere, it's easy to feel like you've watched everything available on Netflix or Hulu or Max–you may even start to wonder if you really need to subscribe to every platform. Thankfully, the streaming world has expanded beyond the pay-to-play model.
For those of us who grew up on network and cable television, there was an all too familiar scene: sitting on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon or evening with nothing to do, scrolling endlessly through channels. What you often settled on was a random movie or syndicated television series from years past. It felt like going to the movies without paying anything extra, and the only caveat was a few ad breaks spliced throughout the film. Platforms like Tubi, PlutoTV, and Amazon's (yes, that Amazon) Freevee have created that same experience for those who prefer streaming, offering hundreds of movies, some newer, some older, completely for free.
Freevee also makes it own programming–in addition to the extremely popular Jury Duty, it notably has a spin-off of Prime Video's popular series Bosch and rebooted the crime drama Leverage–but for anyone who just wants to stop scrolling through the same streaming services' offerings for the hundredth time and simply wants a decent movie to watch, Freevee's got a surprisingly deep catalog of great films. And remember: they're all free (with ads). No Amazon subscription needed.
