From Collina Strada's startling smiles to Schiaparelli's archive revivals, the Spring 2024 runways were filled with fashion feats, celebrity catwalk castings (Angela Bassett! Paris Hilton! Tube Girl!) and the occasional protester. Just outside of the exclusive runway shows in each major city, the must-see fashion moments continued as showgoers' street style looks perfected transitional dressing ahead of the colder months.
We saw suiting in every style across countries, including classic pairings with wide-leg trousers and more innovative approaches featuring bras as tops. Fashion show attendees welcomed fall colors, knee-high boots and other cozy favorites with open arms (especially after a scorching hot summer), while colorful looks featuring textural details, in-your-face maximalism and matching socks brightened up city streets. Of course, sleek all-black outfits — a Parisian favorite — made many appearances as well.
