As rappers go, 21 Savage may not seem like the most natural fit for the pomp and circumstance that come along with New York Fashion Week. The Atlanta-born rapper with the distinctly dark flow may proclaim to have grown up “in the streets without no heart,” and he's more likely to sport some fresh streetwear on Instagram than the outsized styles of cohorts like Young Thug or Lil Uzi Vert, but as this exclusive photo diary proves, he actually looks right at home in a sharp tailored suit.

From a Tom Ford fitting to get attired for the designer’s show last week to attending Ovadia & Sons’ latest presentation, Savage had quite the whirlwind week. He showed that he’s a master at the art of layering, wearing weather-appropriate earth-toned jackets with skinny black jeans and sneakers, and proved that he can rock a Tom Ford suit well enough to meet the man himself. But Savage also retained some of his flippant spirit: From double-fisting in the front row to flipping off his photographer post-Tom Ford, 21 Savage really did put the “F” in NYFW this season.
