A 21-year-old New Jersey woman was charged last week for hacking Selena Gomez's email accounts and storing some of the singer's data, the Los Angeles Police Department wrote in a press release.

Susan Atrach of Ridgefield Park was charged with five felony counts of identity theft, five felony counts of accessing and using computer data to commit fraud or to control or obtain money, property or data, and one felony count of accessing and using computer data or taking supporting documentation without permission, per the press release.

Page Six reports that between June 2015 and February 2016, Selena was hacked multiple times, and that's when Atrach allegedly stole some of the actress's data and stored it to later post online.

In 2017, nude photos of Selena's Justin Bieber were posted on her Instagram, and her account temporarily went offline. When it came back, the photos were gone. The photos were taken during a 2015 trip to Bora Bora, which would coincide with the timeline of when Selena was hacked.

The charges against Atrach carry a maximum sentence of over nine years in a Los Angeles prison, which is where she'll surrender.

“She is going to surrender here in LA,” an LAPD representative told the New York Post. She'll be arraigned on August 27.
