26 Mind-Bending Movies Like Oscar Winner 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'
Once you see Everything Everywhere All at Once and the initial shock wears off, you may start to wonder, "Are there any other movies like that?" All you'll want after is another movie with as much action, sci-fi, and genuine heart as the Oscar-nominated drama. Starring Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis, the film follows Evelyn, a Chinese immigrant who runs a laundromat. When it's time to do her taxes, Evelyn takes her family with her, only to discover she's able to travel to other universes and the fate of various parallel universes rests on her shoulders. That's all happening simultaneously as she has a lot of major problems of her own happening in her own universe, too. There's far more jam-packed into the 2 hour and 19 minute runtime, but to say more would be to spoil an incredible film.
For a movie as wild as Everything Everywhere All at Once, you need to recommend films that are equally as mind-blowing. Plus, with the many genres the film touches on (drama, comedy, sci-fi, action, arguably even romance), there's a wide range of movies to choose from that are just as strange, but also can pull at the heartstrings. Whether you're looking for an emotional rollercoaster, a visual mind-bender, or just one of the weirdest films you've ever seen, trust us, we've got you covered.
Here are 26 movies we recommend if you loved Everything Everywhere All at Once as much as we did.
