On the 20th Anniversary of the "Lord of the Rings," a New Zealand Hotel Is Renting Hobbit Holes

It's been nearly two years since Lord of the Rings was released in theaters, and in that time the Peter Jackson-directed film remains just as iconic now as it was two decades ago. In fact, fans of the movie are still excitedly visiting hobbit holes across the globe.

According to Apartment Therapy, New Zealand's Woodlyn Park is one hotel that allows Lord of the Ring fans to rent out an under hill hobbit hole near the Hobbiton movie set and other exciting filming locations.

Fairly spacious, each hobbit hole can sleep up to six people. In the hobbit hole, you'll find a double bed and two bunk beds, as well as a large bathroom, kitchenette and living area.

Unfortunately, New Zealand won’t be opening its doors to vaccinated international travelers until April 2022, but it does give eager visitors ample time to plan the Lord of the Rings-inspired trip of their dreams.
