2024 Annie Malone May Day Parade puts emphasis on physical, mental health

ST. LOUIS — Physical and mental health play a key role in this year’s Annie Malone May Day Parade.

The parade returns to downtown St. Louis on Sunday, May 19 and is the largest fundraiser for Annie Malone Children & Family Services. It’s also a historic event—the second largest African American parade in the United States.

Annie Malone President and CEO Keisha Lee and other parade attendees spoke with Jasmine Huda about this year’s parade theme: Connecting Physical Health to Mental Health and Wellness.
