The 2020 CrossFit Games Finals Will Broadcast on National TV

From Men's Health

After postponements, event modifications, and a first round that saw favorites and underdogs thrive, the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games Finals is finally just around the corner. Since holding stage one of the competition remotely, CrossFit HQ announced its game plan for the finalists—and broadcast details for fans at home so they can ensure they won’t miss out.

Due to COVID-19, the final stage will be the shortest CrossFit Games since 2011. The Finals start on October 23 and run through through October 25 in Aromas, California. The top ten finalists will spend the weekend battling for the title of the Fittest Man and Woman on Earth.

The top five male competitors are Mat Fraser, Noah Ohlsen, Justin Medeiros, Samuel Kwant, and Jeffrey Adler. Leading the pack is Fraser, four-time Fittest Man, as he looks to set a new record for consecutive victories.

The top five female competitors are Tia-Clair Toomey, Brooke Wells, Haley Adams, Katrín Davidsdottir, and Kari Pearce. Toomey—who trains with Fraser—heads into the finals in the top spot, with hopes to extend her record as the most decorated woman in CrossFit Games history.

CrossFit HQ's schedule includes a mix of streaming and broadcast TV. Fans can livestream the events on PlutoTV, directly on CrossFit's website, and on the company’s YouTube and Facebook channels. A live broadcast from the competition will air on CBS, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., PT (1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET). You can check out the full schedule here.

CBS Sports Network will also air two half-hour preview shows leading into the Finals programming, along with a two-hour documentary slated to run later in the fall.

As the competition kicks off in just over a week, fans can get the full schedule and leaderboard on the official Games site.
