Last year, “Wizards of Waverly Place” star David Henrie welcomed his first child, Pia, with wife Maria Cahill Henrie. Now, a little over a year later, Pia is learning to speak.

“At least during the quarantine, she’ll learn ‘Poppa’!” Henrie captioned the clip.

Pia is sitting in a director’s chair while mom holds her steady. Henrie faces away from her toward the camera.

“Dada,” Pia says. Henrie doesn’t respond. “Poppa,” she says instead.

Henrie then rushes over to reward her use of the correct term with cuddles and kisses.

After more affection from daddy, Pia started saying “Dada, poppa, dada,” over and over. The touching moment was watched more than 1.8 million times. Users couldn’t resist weighing in on the cuteness.

“She’s adorable and seeing the amazing daddy you are is incredible,” one user wrote.

“I love that you’re teaching her Poppa instead of Dada (tho she says it lol),” a user commented.

“Oh man! That’s so cute! Can’t wait for my own little one coming this October!” one person said.

Henrie announced the birth of his daughter on March 19, 2019. At the same time, he revealed he and his wife, a former Miss Delaware, experienced three miscarriages.

“I had no clue just how difficult trying to start a family could be. See, Pia Philomena Francesca Henrie has brothers and sisters,” he wrote on Instagram. “While it was insanely difficult recovering from miscarriage after miscarriage, we knew if we were ever going to be able to hold a baby of our own in our arms that we must not let the tragedy affect our marriage, but rather grow closer together!”
