Baby boy tries to tell dad ‘I love you’ in adorable TikTok

A toddler’s unabashed love for his daddy has made him an internet sensation.

Chloe and Christian Sagum share their lives as parents to toddler Duke on social media. The Sagum family share clips of their blond-haired boy’s childhood adventures from playing chef to workouts with mommy.

Now it looks like Duke is at that stage where he’s learning to speak. The family posted a video of the little tike in March struggling to say “I love you” when he was a little over a year old.

“When you love dad so much but can’t say it quite yet,” the family captioned the TikTok.

“I luh yuh,” Duke tries to tell Christian. The baby is playing in the driveway while dad is parked across the street. The father and son shout the three little words back and forth — Duke seemingly getting more and more frustrated that he can’t repeat “I love you” back to his dad.

The video was viewed 9.6 million times on TikTok. This level of cuteness just has that replay value, what can you do?

“You guys know that video of people yelling I love you! Well, everyone, this should be that new sound. This is sooo cute,” one TikTok user wrote.

“Oh man, it just gets cuter and cuter as they grow older,” another said.

“This is everything!!! What a little love bug of perfection, so so so sweet,” one person wrote.
