A seemingly small skincare item is trending all over TikTok: lip masks. It truly seems like everyone and their e-girl wants soft, supple lips — especially via adorably packaged, high-performing lip products.

And that’s why these lip masks from a K-beauty brand you’ve never heard of are gaining more popularity with TikTok teens than the big brands.

Kocostar is a Korean skincare brand specializing in sheet masks, and it’s the brand’s lip masks that are going viral. There’s no doubt that the cutesy packaging has something to do with it. The rose and cherry blossom lip masks come packaged in a lip-shaped tin that teens are reusing as trinket boxes. But the masks are also said to have top-notch performance, making the product more than a gimmick.

Inside each lip-shaped tin is 20 hydrogel lip masks created to hydrate and nourish dry, chapped lips. The rose lip mask promises to revitalize your lips to a “luscious” state, while the cherry blossom mask promises to firm and add “vitality” to your pout.

While the rose mask is naturally scented with rosewater, the cherry blossom mask is unscented, making it perfect for those with sensitive skin. This mask, however, does contain cherry blossom extract for smoothing and repairing lips, giving some credence to the name.

The brand also sells little heart lip capsules that plump and smooth lips. These capsules, which add a fresh-bitten color to your lips, come in the same lip-shaped tins as the mask set.

The mask and capsule sets are $38 a piece, shaking out to about $2 per use. But for a cute new vanity tin, super hydrated lips and a TikTok-approved product? That just might be worth the moola.
