Since social distancing has us all spending more time at home, you’re probably finding ways to keep yourself busy, whether it’s investing in puzzles to keep yourself occupied, sprucing up your work-from-home space, indulging in self-care purchases or testing out new recipes. (If you haven't made banana bread or tried this viral coffee recipe, are you even in quarantine?)

While at home, I prefer to whip up desserts instead of failing at more complex recipes like bread making, so of course I was shook when I heard Disney released its recipe for the churros they sell at its Disney parks. And following in the footsteps of Disney, DoubleTree by Hilton just released its recipe for the famous cookies served in its hotel lobbies for guest arrivals.

Because fans of the hotel chain kept saying they missed the cookies so much, DoubleTree released the recipe on Twitter on April 9, and I’m surprised more people aren’t freaking out about it. Sure, there have been copycat recipes floating around online for years, but this is the first time the secret recipe has been released.

If you’ve never had a DoubleTree cookie, which is essentially a walnut-chocolate chip cookie (but better), now’s your chance to experience their salty-but-sweet taste and melty deliciousness — they taste better a tad melted with that just-out-the-oven texture. And to make it even tastier, the recipe includes one unexpected ingredient: lemon juice.

Growing up with a flight attendant as a mom, I received my fair share of DoubleTree cookies whenever I would go on a work trip with her when Double Tree was the airline's selected layover hotel. Trust me, there’s nothing better than being greeted with a warm cookie to start your vacation.

Following DoubleTree’s first tweet that contained a video showing the cookies baking, which now has more than 40,000 views, the hotel chain then released the full list of ingredients, which we’ve conveniently laid out for you below, plus all the tools you’ll need.

Even though we won’t be planning any vacations and booking rooms at a DoubleTree anytime soon, you can now enjoy this classic recipe at home.
