To celebrate spring, Le Creuset introduced two new hues to its cookware collection, and it’s not the shades you would expect for spring. Instead of bright pops of color or pastels, Le Creuset released two of its chicest colors yet — a true matte black and shimmering gray.
The new spring colors licorice and stone were inspired by nature, but surprisingly florals weren’t the source of inspiration. Instead, the color pairing was derived from the more rugged yet beautiful features in nature like natural stone and granite. As licorice is Le Creuset’s deepest matte yet, and stone features the perfect amount of a faint, glittery sheen, they’ll instantly add a glamorous feel to your kitchen.

Each color looks gorgeous on its own, but the two also work well in tangent if you were to mix and match your cookware. While licorice is available in more than 10 Le Creuset pieces — from the Dutch ovens to coffee mugs — stone comes in a more limited range.
