Nordstrom is doing something it’s never done before and offering 25 percent off of it’s entire store — literally everything is on sale! One brand we’re especially excited to see go on sale, however, is Kim Kardashian’s famous shapewear brand, SKIMS.

SKIMS launched at Nordstrom online and in select stores back in early February, starting with three of its best-selling collections: Sculpting pieces (including high-waisted briefs, bodysuits, high-waisted shorts), the Fits Everybody underwear line and Solutionwear pasties and body tape. Nordstrom is also selling the SKIMS waist trainer.
The line is available in several shades for matching different skin tones as well as sizes; from XX-small to 5X.
“It was a natural choice to bring SKIMS to Nordstrom as our first retail partner,” Kardashian told E! News last month. “Nordstrom is renowned for its unmatched customer service and inclusive size offerings. It was essential to me that we launch with the full range of sizes and shades that SKIMS has to offer, which is a value shared by Nordstrom. I am thrilled to bring SKIMS to Nordstrom knowing that both fans of the brand and those discovering SKIMS for the first time will have an exceptional shopping experience.”

One thing you might notice while shopping though, is that many of the SKIMS shapewear pieces have lower ratings. Reading through of the reviews, we found that the biggest complaints are that the pieces are too tight and that for the bodysuits, you have to take off the entire garment to use the restroom. Both issues are pretty standard across the shapewear category, however.
“I was skeptical on the size since I’m always in between small & medium, HOWEVER I followed the size guidelines listed with this shape wear and ordered a small. It fits wonderful!” wrote one Nordstrom reviewer who ordered the SKIMS Sculpting Seamless Mid Thigh Bodysuit and gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
“BUT it does take a minute to put on, but once its on it really does the job! I literally feel snatched and it definitely highlights the best parts of my body. I’ve worn it under different types of dresses (body con, satin slip dress, ribbed midi) and it is flattering! It does not have button closure around the private area, so it does take some to take off so just keep that in mind. I’ve bought other shape wear before but this one has been the best thus far. point is, WORTH IT! (: For reference: I’m 5’0, 120lbs, 36C, 28 waist,” the reviewer added.
