Boasting over 24,000 ratings on Amazon, the WizGear Universal Air Vent Magnetic Phone Car Mount comes with a list of features that shoppers say makes it worth every bit of those 10 bucks.
Among them is its reinforced magnetic holder which, according to its product description, “sets it apart from other mounts.” The strength of the holder is also “intensive,” with claims that it will hold “any smartphone,” including Apple, Android, Blackberry and Microsoft devices.
The mount also allows for the ability to swivel your device at your leisure while it’s attached. The base of the mount remains firmly fixated into the air vent of the car and “does not move, no matter how much swiveling or rotation you do.” This particular feature ensures that your device “will always remain in your preferred position.”
Adding to its ease of use, the WizGear product features swift-snap technology, allowing users to remove and attach their devices to the mount in one swift motion.

Boasting more than 15,200 5-star reviews on Amazon, this product is certainly a customer favorite, with several speaking to the sturdy hold of the magnetic force and the guaranteed safety it provides.
“Thought I would hate something like this on my vent, truth is now I can’t drive without it,” one reviewer wrote. “Phone will swivel on strong magnet and only rarely come off… Device comes with a ton of accessories including extra metal plates to put inside your phone case and clear stickers to aid in removal.”
Another 5-star reviewer dubbed it the “best phone gadget I’ve purchased in years,” while another gushed that “this is officially my gadget find-of-the-year!”
One criticism one reviewer had of the device, however, is that while it is “the best, most stable car mount I’ve found,” it prevents wireless charging, to a degree.
Sharing his experience of a workaround that rectified the minor issue, the same reviewer recommended that users place the included metal plate (magnetic) on the inside of their phone cases as opposed to directly onto the phone. This allows for the phone to carry out its normal wireless charging capability by simply removing the case.
