Oscars 2018: Tiffany Haddish Wears Ugg Slippers to Present an Award

Among the many iconic moments that Tiffany Haddish had at the 2018 Oscars — and this includes her jumping a rope to curtsy in front of Meryl Streep — her choice to wear slippers to present an award might be the most unforgettable. Stepping on stage next to Maya Rudolph, the comedian wore the same white Alexander McQueen gown that she wore to her Girls Trip premiere in 2017 and then jokingly wore again to host Saturday Night Live. She completed the look with none other than a pair of slip-on Uggs.

If it wasn't clear already, Tiffany might just be one of the most relatable celebs we've ever seen. We can understayd why, after posing for hours on the red carpet wearing stilettos, wshe wanted to put on something a little less painful. If you've ever worn cute shoes to a family function only to immediately regret your decision, oh, .5 seconds later, you know exactly what we mean.

On social media, fans immediately began applauding the hilarious choice. "Tiffany Haddish wearing Ugg slippers and asking 'Are the #Oscars too Black now?' That’s all," one person tweeted. And while Tiffany may not have been nominated for an award at tonight's show, with this move, she was definitely a winner.
