2018 Emmys: The Cast of This Is Us Reunites on Red Carpet
If there were an Emmy award for "Cutest TV Family," the Pearsons from This Is Us would be a shoo-in. Case-in-point: Their reunion at the 2018 Emmys. The Big Three (past and present) and the Pearson parents walked the red carpet Monday night (September 17) ahead of the show, and there were plenty of adorable moments—especially seeing "Jack" (RIP) reunited with his family.
Milo Ventimiglia and his TV son, Lonnie Chavis (who plays young Randall), hit the event in true father-son style in matching white tuxedos, posing for some adorable shots. While the rest of the multi-generational Pearson men didn't get the white tux memo, they still slayed the red-carpet style game. Sterling K. Brown and Justin Hartley each looked dapper with their own takes on classic black tuxedos, with Brown opting for a pocket square and Hartley choosing some statement-making lapels.
It's hard to decide which of the IRL versions of Kevin was the "best dressed," though, because Parker Bates (young Kevin) rocked a red velvet jacket and pinstriped pants, while Logan Shroyer (teenage Kevin) wore a sequin tuxedo.
Chris Sullivan also tested out a new take on the traditional tux, pairing a printed green silk suit with some great green eyeliner.
The men of This Is Us weren't the only ones who brought their fashion A-games. Chrissy Metz looked gorgeous in an emerald green gown, while Mackenzie Hancsicsak (who plays the younger version of Metz's character, Kate) wore a blue and purple floral dress.
Hannah Zeile, a.k.a. teenage Kate, wore a white chiffon gown with floral detailing, and posed with her TV brother for a photo that damn near had us crying.
And don't forget the Pearson matriarch, Mandy Moore, who was just as stunning as her brood in a custom Rodarte gown. She wore her dark hair in mermaid-inspired waves and could hardly mask her excitement about the show's eight nominations. And her photo with Ventimiglia, above, is too emotional to handle.
The cast kept pretty tight-lipped about what fans can expect from the show's third season, but after seeing them all reunited once again, we can't wait for the premiere on Tuesday, September 18.
