The red carpet at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles Saturday night included a few Hollywood actresses who came out to support their hardworking film producers — and they did not disappoint. In front of the flashing cameras, America Ferrera, 31, Sarah Paulson, 41, Marcia Gay Harden, 56, and Frances Fisher, 63, proved that Hollywood glam is possible at any age — minimal contouring needed. Lady Gaga, with voluminous old Hollywood blonde waves, skipped the red carpet, to our dismay, but she made up for it with a heart-wrenching rendition of her original song, “Til It Happens to You.”

Ferrera was busy last night, and her beauty look didn’t miss a beat: she introduced both the Stanley Kramer award for The Hunting Ground and Lady Gaga’s performance. The actress complemented her polka-dotted dress with retro waves, pearl drop earrings, and enviably dewy skin.

Paulson introduced nominees for the Best Motion Picture category, the last award of the night. The American Horror Story star rocked a short bob made glamorous with a windswept blowout. The rest of her look was simple, with nude makeup and bare shoulders.

Harden pulled back her brunette locks into a sleek low ponytail. The Tony Award-winning actress’s frosted pink lips and silver earrings were decidedly less theatrical than the long train on her sleeved gown.

Fisher presented the nominees for Best Documentary. “In feature films the director is god, in documentary films, God is the director. What then is the producer of a documentary?” she said onstage, quoting Alfred Hitchcock. The British-American red carpet veteran, wearing a simple black dress with her vibrant red pixie cut, hammed up for the cameras, posing with her friends and cracking jokes with the photographers.
