Well, that might have been the end of Ted Lasso’s time with AFC Richmond. Or maybe it isn’t. Only Jason Sudeikis likely knows.
The beloved Apple TV+ show aired its Season 3 finale on Tuesday night, capping out what might be the end of the series.
The show ended largely with the same sports-loving, nice-loving, and love-loving nature the entire series is best known for.
Sudeikis, who stars as the positively positive title character, has remained vocal for months now about how the third season wraps up the story the creators (including Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt) wanted to create. However, a spin-off of the Emmy-winning series is not off the table.
No official announcement of Season 4 or a spinoff has been made. So, for now at least, fans are getting into their feels for the Season 3 finale. If this is the final shootout (to use a soccer term) for the good people down in Richmond, most (though not all) fans seem happy with the finale.
