.A crisp, white twin XL comforter you're gonna wanna snuggle up in after a long night of partying (I mean, studying!). Plus, its neutral color will ensure that it won't clash with your roommate's bedding.
.A galaxy light projector for keeping the vibe ~chill and fun~ while you and your friends are hanging in your dorm room before you go hackey sack on the quad. It's also a white noise machine if you're trying to catch some Zzzzzs.
.A canvas laundry hamper with wheels so you can easily roll your laundry to the laundry room instead of lugging a cumbersome basket.
.A cozy throw blanket to keep you nice and warm if your dorm building is like a million years old and still doesn't have central heating.
.A sleek floor lamp that won't take up precious nightstand space so you can study from bed when you inevitably have to pull an all-nighter (I'm sorry, but it's GOING to happen).
.A 50-pack of ultra-thin velvet hangers to help you get the most out of your (very tiny) closet space and ensure your stuff won't go sliding off. I've used these same hangers since MY freshman year in 2017 and they still hold up.
.A little vanity mirror so you can keep up with your skincare routine and always have your makeup looking great even though you might not have access to a whole bathroom mirror like you did at home.
.A three-tier shoe rack if you love to shop for footwear and refuse to leave any of your shoes at home when you move into your dorm.
.A slim floor-length mirror with a stand, so you don't have to worry about nailing anything into your walls, because with dorms, that's typically a big no-no.
.A pair of noise cancelling AirPod Pros for when your roommate is sobbing because of romance troubles and you just really need to study for your final the next day. (Side note: I may or may not have been that crying roommate).
.An ultra mini fridge that perfectly fits nine cans so you can keep your favorite beverages like soda, kombucha, La Croixs, and non-alcoholic beer (because ya'll are babies) nice and cool.
.An extra large beauty case to keep all your makeup and skincare items organized and make sure your roommate doesn't "borrow" anything without asking.
.A six-piece luxury towel set that will make you forget you're using a communal shower instead of staying at a fancy hotel. Just don't forget shower shoes!
.A 32-pack of your own toilet paper, because I can almost guarantee you that the communal bathrooms will only have really crappy single-ply stuff, and you deserve better.
.A cozy shag rug to bring a touch of luxury to your space and make your dorm feel a bit more homey. IMO, a rug is the easiest way to make a new environment feel cozier!
.A chunky knit throw pillow for adding a subtle pop of color and making your bed look like the snuggly oasis that it is. Bonus if you can get one in your school color, like this burnt orange one for UT! Hook em' horns!
.Or a doormat touting your school's logo so you can really show off some team spirit and make sure nobody tracks in anything nasty after class or a night of partying.
.A jumbo memory foam bean bag chair because, let's be honest, what screams "cool freshman dorm" more than a bean bag?? Plus, it can fit up to two people!
.A dorm room survival snack pack with 55 different treats for when you have to stay up until 3 a.m. finishing a big paper and need to fuel yourself for the long night ahead.
.And finally, a pack of 16 Command wire hooks that don't require nailing in for hanging belts, jewelry, purses, and small decor. These were a godsend my freshman year!
