20+ Deals That Rival Amazon Early Access
In case you haven’t turned the TV on or been targeted by ads on Facebook lately, Amazon, Target and Walmart essentially got together and decided Black Friday is now a multi-month thing that starts in October.
Not really, but it sure seems like it. Walmart’s Black Friday deals began on Oct. 1 and Target Deal Days started on Oct. 4. But Amazon, being Amazon, decided to host a two-day deal frenzy called Prime Early Access. Unlike the others, it only lasts two days (Oct. 11-12) — putting a deadline on people’s deal-shopping. And so, that TV, super-cozy athleisure wear and KitchenAid you considered while noshing on a midnight snack may all have sold out by breakfast. (It may be a blessing in disguise. Some deals at competing retailers are better than Amazon’s, including Target’s marked-down KitchenAids.)
We got you. Several other big box retailers, including the aforementioned Target and Walmart, still have steeply discounted products available. Think must-have and nice-to-have kitchen items, tech gear, clothes, furniture and more. Here are the best Prime Early Access alternative deals to shop. Be sure to read reviews, fine print and return policies carefully. Deals are great — items that don’t work for your home are not.
Here at Parade.com, we're all about sharing products we love with our audience. When you make a purchase on an item seen on this page, we may earn a commission, however, all picks are independently chosen unless otherwise mentioned.

Best Sitewide Deals During Prime Early Access
Some sites have free-for-all sales, with everything online marked down. It makes it easier on you — there’s no doubt about it: Your item is on sale. Here’s where to score big deals.
J.Crew
J.CREW is offering 35% and up off entire purchases, including new, best-selling and sale items. There’s only one catch: You have to enter SHOPEARLY at checkout. One of the sweetest deals is on the best-selling and new Quilted Cocoon Puffer Coat. It’s typically $198, but you can snag it for $99 with the code SHOPEARLY — a 50% discount. The deal applies to every available color (frosty lavender, general surplus, dark nutmeg, navy and black). Though the coat has been around since 2011, this year’s edition has a higher collar for more wind protection.
Bath & Body Works
As the seasons change, so do our skin’s needs. Cold air outside and dry heat inside can rob our skin of its moisture. Also, comforting scents like warm vanilla can keep us cozy on chilly winter nights. Bath & Body Works is currently offering 40% off its entire site, plus free shipping on orders over $50 (Use code BESTDEAL at checkout for free shipping. The 40% off will automatically be applied). Though the deals apply to the entire site, here are some notable deals on winter-ready products.
Gap
Gap is cozying up to customers by offering a competitive 60% discount across the entire site. As a bonus, customers can take an additional 10% off regular-priced items by applying the code ADDIT (You can do this before you even start shopping by clicking “Tap to Apply” on the bottom tab of the website.)
Old Navy
Old Navy is offering 40% off the entire site, including clearance items, through Oct. 12. Take that, Amazon. It’s an online exclusive, and there’s no code needed. Just put the item in your cart and consider it marked down. And people in the market for some new activewear should run — not walk — to the site, as it’s even more discounted today only. Take 50% off online purchases, though shoppers can’t combine this deal with others.
