'20/20's David Muir Debuts 'Relaxed Look' in Rare Glimpse at Holiday Celebration

Fans couldn't get enough of the anchor's laid back vibe.

David Muir swapped his crisp suit and tie for a more relaxed fit this Easter weekend.

The anchor of ABC World News Tonight and co-anchor of 20/20 tickled his nearly half a million Instagram followers with a laid back photo of himself and the Easter bunny.

He opted for an equally chill caption on the Instagram post, adding a simple bunny emoji.

In the black and white shot, Muir rocked an unbuttoned crew cut shirt and Ray Ban sunglasses, but it was the stubble and messy hair in place of his usual coiffed hairstyle that garnered most of the attention.

Fans were quick to take notice of the appearance change, with one writing, “I love the relaxed look! A departure from your elegant, well-groomed look we see every night, but I really like it. That's what vacations are all about, to let loose and have fun.”

ABC National Correspondent Mireya Villarreal emphasized the unrecognizable look, commenting, “Where is @davidmuirabc & what have you done with him!? 😍 🔥,” while CBS Correspondent Nikki Battiste showed some love by dropping a heart emoji. Deborah Roberts, ABC News Senior National Affairs Correspondent, also weighed in, leaving a bunny and little yellow chick emoji to commemorate the holiday.

Kelly Ripa didn’t hold back, adding, “Hot bunnies 🐰🐰” which prompted a cheeky response from Muir himself, as he noted, “you are 🐰.”

Another fan quipped, “Please do your show in an open-neck Henley with bed-head and shades,” as another gushed, “David, I LOVE your unshaven, wind-blown hair look!!🔥🔥.”
