2 Chainz Proposed to His Girlfriend at the Met Gal

If you blinked you might have missed it, but there was a proposal on the red carpet of the Met Gala, and it was sOoOooO sweet. That is, until you realize it... wasn't real.

Rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, "proposed" to the woman he brought with him. Her name is Kesha Ward, and guess what? She's ALREADY HIS WIFE.

Yep, you heard me. The couple has been married since 2013, and they have three kids together. Three whole children. So if you were thinking "Omg, how spontaneous and adorable," think again!

Okay, yes, technically romance is not entirely dead because they are in fact married and in love. And the ring was new (and huge, btw), so it wasn't entirely fake, but fake-adjacent, ya know?
