1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche Documentary To Stream On Netflix

Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche is a documentary that covers one of the deadliest avalanches in North American history.

The film debuted in 2022 to live audiences and since been available to rent on Amazon Prime and Apple Tv+. We're now learning that Netflix subscribers will be able to watch the film on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023. More details below:

The March 31, 1982 avalanche has gone down in history as one of the deadliest of all-time. Seven people perished. One woman was miraculously located and rescued thanks to an avalanche rescue dog.

For those that need a refresher, Alpine Meadows is now part of Palisades Tahoe, the region's largest ski resort. The resort is simply referred to as Alpine these days.
