People are having babies later in life, and celebrities aren’t immune to the trend. Check out our round-up of celebrities who were 40 (or older) when they gave birth.
It's true that fertility decreases as you age. Healthy couples have a one in four chance of conceiving during each menstrual cycle in their 20s and early 30s, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). By the time they turn 40, these odds decrease to one in 10—but that certainly doesn't mean it's impossible.
Here, we rounded up 20 celebrities who gave birth at age 40 or older. Some of them conceived naturally, while others used fertility treatments like in vitro fertilization (IVF). In the end, though, they all ended up with a new bundle of joy.
