This $19.5 Million Florida Mansion Is Straight Out of ‘The Jungle Book’
Move over, Disney World, because the most magical place on Earth might actually be this totally bonkers Florida mansion.
A gated estate on a palm tree-lined private peninsula in Orlando just hit the market, and it’s asking a whopping $19.5 million. Known as Entrelagos, the palatial pad is located on the Butler Chain of Lakes, nestled between Lake Sheen and Lake Tibet. According to the listing, it took nearly 10 years and an eye-watering $8 million to construct the 14,706-square-foot home. Aside from the 14 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, the whole place sports a no-holds-barred jungle theme that’s complete with hand-hewn coquina rock and tons of lush greenery. You know, just the bare necessities.

The interior spaces are decked out with custom ironwork, columns emblazoned with carved flowers, ornate moldings, cathedral ceilings, and a dramatic second-floor balcony. In fact, many of the extravagant decorative details were handmade by artisans in the Philippines and then shipped to Orlando.
Unsurprisingly, the amenities are as ambitious as the unconventional décor and include a movie theater with a massive 100-inch screen and a swanky billiard room. Another highlight is the two-story, rotunda-style library with its floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and fantastical spiral staircase that winds up to a second-floor gallery.
Enshrouded in tropical plantings, the grounds aren’t too shabby, either. There’s an epic tri-level swimming pool with cascading waterfalls, a cabana bar, a pool bath, a summer kitchen, a spa, and a steam room. If you plan on entertaining, guests can kick back in total seclusion in a separate three-bed guesthouse.
The unique retreat makes the most of its waterfront setting. There’s a sprawling 2,000-square-foot deck that overlooks both lakes, as well as a covered dock with two boat slips. As an added bonus, Entrelagos is so close to Walt Disney World that the park’s nightly fireworks display is visible from the property. It’s no doubt the best seat in the house, but without the hassle of the crowds.
