Senior cats deserve all the love in the world.
November was senior cat month and we have written many times on PetHelpful about the importance of giving these more mature felines a home.
This beautiful 18-year-old kitty was surrendered and the video posted by TikTok account @Nyacc will make you fall in love with this older girl.

Thankfully, so many people in the comments also love senior cats! TikTok user @Athenabriggs types, "My tomboy is 16. He pees on the floor cause he can't hold it. He's more persnickety in his age. But we won't give up our boy. Sending love." @Amberdawnseyler types "I’m fostering a senior kitty right now and it’s so rewarding. I absolutely encourage people to give these wise old beasties a chance. You won’t regret it!" @Gillian sadly posts, "I don't understand. I lost my 17-year-old cat in March and it still hurts to breathe without her. I'd have done anything to have had more time with her."
There are many reasons senior cats are surrendered. Sadly, sometimes their owners pass away or move to a nursing home and can't keep them. This is just a suggestion the next time you want to adopt a pet, consider giving a home to an animal in its golden years. Nothing could be more rewarding!
