17 Terrified Dogs Arrive at Florida Shelter After Owner Surrenders Them All

Orange County Animal Services recently took in 17 dogs that had been surrendered after their owner could no longer care for them. According to the video, the dogs were so hungry they attacked a neighbor's pigs. TikTok account holder @AharrisPhoto posted "The owners neighbors called our officers about the situation & the owner decided to surrender them all. There might be more on the way which will lead to a higher animal surrender count."

They also posted the following video showing some of these dogs. They are so terrified and sad.

It's just so heartbreaking. @Pammykay1 posts , "That is so sad. I pray they find homes." @SolandNala add, "This is so freaking heartbreaking." @Annaaroundyou agrees and adds, "So sad, poor dogs….Praying that they will have a good family!"

The account holder posted a follow-up video with an animal behaviorist who observed the dogs and offered insight into their behavior. Because the dogs had little to no socialization they tend to stay close to each other for affection and support. We hope these babies find loving forever homes soon and can learn how to trust humans again. If you are interested in adopting, fostering or donating for these dogs, you can contact the shelter here.
